Wednesday Wedding Inspiration
I'm headed to Greensboro today for more wedding planning, so it seemed fitting to share some more wedding inspiration with y'all. I have started to realize that my ideas are all over the place and that I need to chat with Grace, our awesome wedding planner, and my mom asap to make sense out of all the chaos. Not sure where the Great Gatsby inspired invitations are going to fit in... only time will tell.

The Great Gatsby
With every new detail, we have gotten more and more excited about Baz Luhrmann's upcoming film adaptation of the Great Gatsby. First of all, two of our all time favorite movies, Romeo+Juliet and Moulin Rouge, are both directed by Baz Luhrmann. Secondly, we are obsessed with the entire Great Gatsby cast...Leonardo DiCaprio never disappoints. Third, the soundtrack is RIDICULOUS with songs from Beyonce, Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, will.i.am, etc. Fourth, needless to say the Great Gatsby is one of our all time favorite books. We are so happy that the movie finally comes out this weekend! We will definitely be squeezing in some time to see it (Frank and Wes you better clear your schedules)...Just from these pictures, we can already tell it is going to be one of our new favorites! We put together some Gatsby outfit inspiration as well to get you in the right mindset...

Cloth Dinner Napkins
Most of you are well aware of the fact that Kate and I LOVE to play hostess. We cherish any opportunity to cook, decorate, and get gussied up especially if it leads to us getting to socialize with all of our friends. We can definitely attribute our love of entertaining to our parents, who love to throw impromptu dinner parties, where our dad is tasked with cooking and our mom is in charge of table decor. Kate and I have learned a lot about entertaining from our parents such as making sure you time the preparation of the meal correctly (thanks dad) to adding special touches on the table can really enhance the mood (thanks mom). Our parents are currently preparing to throw a large dinner party in their backyard in our grandparents' honor and our mom asked if we had any ideas for the decor. We immediately decided to take charge of the evening's design theme as not only does it gives us an opportunity to come up with an amazing tablescape, but we also get to do another one of our favorite activities which is to spend our dad's money (just kidding). Anyway, we have been brainstorming ideas and decided that we would start by selecting napkins. We think whenever possible cloth dinner napkins are a MUST...it instantly ups the chic factor at a party. We are pretty much obsessed with all of these, so we are definitely going to have a hard time deciding...
