Queen City Brunch: 5Church

Kelley and I decided to have brunch at 5Church yesterday after hearing everyone talking about it for the past couple of months. It was amazing. As soon as we walked in, we were obsessed. The decor is fabulous and swanky- definitely our kind of place. The waitstaff couldn't have been friendlier, which in our opinion is an absolute must. There is a sort of hipster/indie vibe to the restaurant that just makes you feel cool being there. All in all it was a great experience. Granted, the sangria and mimosas might have added to our experience... While both of our meals were excellent, we definitely agree that the shrimp and anson mills polenta stole the show.
Some Decor Shots... Our pictures really don't do it justice.

awesome tables- although Kelley couldn't put her legs underneath with wedges on, so tall people beware. Maybe sit at the bar?

According to our waiter (wish I could remember his name so I could give him a shout out), 5Church turns into a pretty happening scene starting around 11pm on the weekends. He used the word "clubby." Love it. So we will definitely be checking it out next time we are actually here on the weekend.

All of the menus look great. Be sure to make a reservation if you are going for dinner during the weekend, this place books up quickly since it's obviously becoming a Charlotte hot spot.

Check out the website. You can make reservations on open table.
